Hurricane Update

Well, we talked to one of our neighbors who returned to his house today and he gave us an update. There is no water and no power, so the city is telling everyone to stay away if you can (we'll see what work and school think about that). He said that it looks like our house didn't have any flooding from the outside. We may have had a little bit of roof damage and lost part of our fence, but all in all A LOT better than most places (thanks for all your prayers)! The tree in the front yard got fairly beat up, but at least it's not gone or residing in our house. We aren't sure if there is any water inside and won't know until we get back, but he said all the boards stayed on the house (thanks Scott)! So, that's the update.

Keep the updates coming. We will keep up our prayers that your lives will get back to normal ASAP. (What's normal you say? since you just moved to a new city, new house, new ward, new job, and a new school????)

Well, I guess it sounds promising... for hurricane damage. Doesn't exactly make me want to move to houston... I hope you find everything ok! Keep us updated!

We are relieved that you had minimum damage to your house. We hope you can return home soon and have all your power back and such.
