Cozumel was AWESOME!! It was the first leg of our trip and we left the day after my last final, so it was a much needed break. We had some free vouchers that we had to use (from interviewing at Optometry schools) so we took the chance to take a vacation since this is the last summer Scott won't have school.
The swine flu never even hit Cozumel, so that ended up not being a problem at all, but a help, because the island was practically deserted which made it fantastic for us!
We rented a scooter, that we named Hermes or Hermy for short, for the week and would go around the island and find a random beach where we would set up camp for the day. So, everyday we would have a beach to ourselves. Couldn't be better. We also went and saw Chichen Itza (the famous Mayan ruins) and that was INCREADIBLE! All in all, a fantastic trip and I desperately miss the food!! Even if you don't watch all of the photos in the video, fast forward to the end...there's a video of us in action on our scooter!

So glad you guys were able to get away for such a cool trip. I'm putting it on my list of places to go someday..looks way fun.
You weren't kidding about being alone on the beach. Were you ever nervous about that? Those ruins are so awesome. We must go there. Love the video of the scooter ride.
